Security + Trust

Treat the public website like infrastructure, not decoration.

A GovCon website is public-facing marketing infrastructure. It should be fast, resilient, accessible, privacy-aware and explicit about what public AI is allowed to know.

Security-aware delivery

HTTPS, security headers, dependency hygiene, least-privilege administration, protected forms, backups and monitored hosting should be planned from the beginning.

Accessibility-aware UX

Semantic markup, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, color contrast, readable type, motion reduction and form labeling are built into the design system.

Responsible public AI

The AI BD Desk should answer only from approved public knowledge, keep sensitive data out of public workflows and escalate consequential questions to people.

Claims discipline

We do not call a marketing website “CMMC compliant” or claim a formal certification we are not authorized to provide. Qualified assessors handle formal attestations.

Data boundaries

Public, internal and controlled information need different lanes.

PUBLIC

Capabilities, certifications, contract vehicles, approved past performance, careers, locations, FAQs and public contact paths.

INTERNAL

CRM notes, lead qualification, pipeline status and internal follow-up that should live behind authenticated systems.

CONTROLLED / SENSITIVE

CUI, classified, export-controlled, source-selection-sensitive or restricted material should not enter public AI or ordinary marketing forms.

Straight answers

Questions serious contractors ask.

Does a public GovCon website need CMMC certification?

A public marketing website is not automatically a CMMC system. The right security and compliance requirements depend on what data it handles and how it connects to other systems. Formal CMMC determinations belong with qualified specialists.

Do you build with Section 508 and WCAG principles?

Yes, the design and QA process can include semantic structure, keyboard access, focus visibility, contrast, motion preferences and form accessibility. Formal conformance claims should be based on appropriate testing and scope.

Can the AI BD Desk answer proposal questions?

It can answer approved public questions and collect context. Proposal-specific, contractual, legal, controlled or sensitive questions should be escalated to authorized people.
